THRIVE: Twenty and Thirty Something Ministry
Who we are/ our DNA:
We want to THRIVE in Christ by reclaiming the life we were made for in God’s Word, God’s Community and Mission, led by His Spirit. (Jer 17:5-10, Rom 12, John 20:21)
We exist to connect, inspire, equip, and send twenty and thirty-somethings with an active and thriving faith that is:
Real… being honest with where we are at in our faith while pursuing the life we have been called to in Jesus Christ.
Relational… we have been made to be in relationship with God and those around us for mutual love, encouragement, and service.
Relevant… we are not the center of life, but our growth is dependent on being able to see how we as individuals and community find ourselves living in and for God.
Radical… we have not been called to a faith that is just about “me and Jesus”. We have been called to a faith that joins our Savior in living out the Kingdom of God in an unredeemed and broken world—bringing salvation, hope, peace, justice, mercy, and healing to everyone around us.
Who we are in action:
Monday Night Life Group (ages 25-35+): We alternate meeting in the homes of group members. We begin at 6 pm for fellowship, food, and community. Our focus this year is on God’s story in our lives. We would love to hear your story, and to share our story with you. For more information, contact Justin Stapel. E-mail: Justinstapel@yahoo.com
Discipleship: We split up guys and girls every other week for study, and accountability.
College Life Group: We meet on Sunday’s at 10:15am at the Marquette campus to connect with each other, study God’s Word, plan how we are going to join God in loving others and pray.
Serving and Outreach: We are always seeking to grow in our understanding of our role in serving those around us, as an expression of Christ’s love for them.
