Craig is a graduate of Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended Bethel Seminary in San Diego and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. He was a youth pastor for 12 years and has served as a senior pastor for 30 years. Craig and his wife Pam have been married 42 years and have 3 children- Chad, Nicole and Lindsay. The newest adventure has been joining the ranks of “joyful grandparents” to Madelyn, Charlie, Milo and Douglas
Dave and his wife Vicky are West Michigan natives. Dave works with the Navigators as a missionary to pastors and churches to engage them in life-on-life disciplemaking.
This is Dave’s second time serving Olivet as our interim youth pastor and we are excited about the passion he has for drawing everyone in his sphere closer to Jesus.
Justin and his wife Tia both grew up at Olivet and have been faithful volunteers individually and as a couple. Justin is now the Pastor to our Marquette campus and is leading with an amazing “relationships-first” style. Justin also helps lead a group of Christians exploring their faith at Baker College. The Stapels have one son, Isaiah.
Mary and her husband, Ben, have been part of the Olivet family for 27 years where they have served in a variety of capacities. She graduated from Baptist Bible College with a degree in Christian Education and also holds a Bachelor of Business Leadership Degree from Baker College. Mary became our Children’s Ministries Director in November of 2013. Mary and Ben have a shared passion for children. They have five school-aged children- Kyleah, Karston, Kendon, Kamea, and Kaleb, three grown children, and are active foster parents.
Debbie and her husband Warren have been a part of Olivet for 5 years since the merger of the 2 churches. Debbie serves as Olivet’s office administrator and is the first face and voice you are likely to encounter if you call or visit the church. Debbie and Warren have 4 grown children and 15 grandchildren.
Sandy and her husband Roger have been part of the Olivet family for many years and have faithfully served in many capacities. Sandy’s gifts and passion are to see people connected in meaningful ways to Jesus, each other and the church. During this season, she is working to grow the number of small group leaders and participants at Olivet.
