Due to the coronavirus, our student ministry has moved entirely online. Currently, I am available to connect to students and parents in many ways:

The link for zoom calls will be send out by emails and posted in our private facebook groups:

Olivet High School Ministry and Olivet EFC Middle school youth group.

Students will need to sign up for a free zoom account. I encourage them to wear headphones to cancel out noise feedback. Additionally, I am learning from other youth pastors on how to keep zoom meetings safe (this is one of the reasons we send the link out via facebook and only post it to the private facebook groups.

High School Ministry

Our high school ministry is for all students who are in 9th-12th grade. Our desire is to help each student grow in their walk with Jesus by helping them read and apply God’s Word, by connecting them in relationships with students and adults who love Jesus, and by giving them opportunities to serve God and others.

High school Ministry is currently studying via Youtube videos on Sunday nights. They are meeting via Zoom on Monday afternoons at 3:30pm

Middle School Ministry

Our Middle School Ministry is for all students who are in 6th-8th grade. Our desire is to help each student grow in their walk with Jesus by helping them read and apply God’s Word, by connecting them in relationships with students and adults who love Jesus, and by giving them opportunities to serve God and others.

Middle school ministry is currently studying through YouTube on Tuesday afternoons and meeting via Zoom on Tuesdays at 3:30pm

Sunday school

Sunday school for Middle school and High school students takes place on Sunday mornings at our Harvey Campus from 9:30am-10:15am in the youth room. Students cover a variety of topics and studies from the Bible.

Meet the Youth Pastor- Justin McFarland

Justin grew up attending Olivet with his family. After graduating from Calvin College in 2006, Justin served as a youth pastor at Calvary EFC in Minnesota for four and half years. He has enjoyed serving the teenagers at Olivet since being called to Olivet in September of 2010. Justin and his wife Stephanie have a son, Davis, and a daughter, Mackenzie. Justin hopes that Olivet’s youth ministry will help every student to know Jesus and become His disciple who makes more disciples.
